Last updated: July 25, 2026
Tidyfi ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Who we are
Tidyfi is a cleaning services business covering London and Essex. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller.
What information we collect
When you request a quote or book a service with us, we collect:
Your name, email address, and phone number
Your property address
Details about the service you require (property size, rooms, preferred date)
Access information you provide (such as key locations, entry codes, or notes about pets), where relevant to delivering your service
How we use your information
We use your information solely to:
Provide you with a quote
Confirm and manage your booking
Communicate with you about your service
Assign your booking to one of our vetted subcontractor cleaners
We share it only with the specific subcontractor cleaner assigned to your booking, to the extent necessary for them to complete the job, and with Squarespace, our website hosting provider, so they can operate the site and store form submissions on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any other third party for marketing purposes.
Information collected automatically when you visit our website
This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects some information automatically to run and secure the site, including your browser, network and device details, pages viewed, and your IP address. You can read more in Squarespace's own Privacy Policy.
We also use Squarespace's built-in analytics, which collects similar information (device/browser details, pages visited, clicks, scrolling, timestamps) so we can understand site traffic. This data is used only to improve our website and is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies
This website uses cookies — small files placed on your device when you visit.
Necessary cookies are always active. These allow Squarespace to securely serve this website to you and cannot be switched off.
Analytics and performance cookies are only used if you accept them via our cookie banner. These help us understand site traffic and activity.
You can manage your preferences at any time using the cookie banner or your browser settings.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal obligations (such as tax records, typically up to 6 years for HMRC purposes).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
Ask what personal information we hold about you
